Our children are being raised in a world of technology. They are constantly playing video games, texting, or burying their faces in a computer screen. This book is a great way to get them out into the real world and have some fun!
I recently picked up Summer Challenge 2017 and am very glad that I did so. This book is filled with many great ideas designed to help families have fun together and build memories. It is very cleverly written with an emphasis on humor, for example in one of the games the "best smelling person" gets to go first. There are some games, crafts, and experiments that I remember from when I was a child, and many more that I have never heard of before. I especially like that there is some extra space to write in new ideas, or recipes, or just some space to doodle. I look forward to accepting the challenge and the fun that will be inspired by this book, not just over the summer, but beyond.
I've given away several copies of this book. It's incredible. My kids used it all summer long, along with the stay-home sitter. I "assigned" challenges every day, and it really kept the summer interesting for them. What a wonderful idea. Thanks for a great summer, Jay!!
Love love loved this book... some of the ideas are just common sensense suggestions but having a list of things to help trigger wonderful summer memories for you and your children. Did I mention i loved this book. My children ,adult children as well had fun making so much fun this summer with ideas from this book, was fun time. Thank you!
