Download As PDF : On the Road in Roadhouse Free Being RVing in a Small Motorhome eBook Jack Wiley
This book is about Free Being RVing in a small motorhome.
The author Jack Wiley buys a small 21-foot used motorhome, names it Roadhouse, and travels to the desert Southwest in it. He makes the Slab City, Yuma, and Quartzsite circuit. The RVing is done by boondocking, or what he calls "No Hookup RVing," which can cut the cost of RVing in half or even more. He details how to do this.
The book also covers travel to Lassen National Park and the Avenue of the Redwoods.
Jack Wiley has been RVing for 16 years and is the author of fifty published books.

This series is like someone published, unedited, their daily journal. Here is a typical passage:"On Monday morning, November 4 (Day 25), I leave the RV parking lot at the casino at 10:45 a.m. and drive Roadhouse to the Chevron Gas Station on 32nd Street, where I get gas. I have lunch at the Jack in the Box that is a short distance from the gas station. Then I go to the library."
I am reminded of Truman Capote's comment: 'That's not writing, that's typing.'
